Terms & Conditions
Scope
These Terms & Conditions ("T&C") apply to all contracts concluded between a consumer ("customer" or "you") and TST Marici GmbH ("Mārīci", "we", or "us") for goods and/or services offered in the Mārīci online shop at marici-pashminadelicates.com. A consumer is any natural person entering into a legal transaction for purposes not predominantly commercial or related to independent professional activity. Business customers and resellers please contact us directly.
Contract Conclusion
You may add products to your cart without obligation. By clicking the order button, you submit a binding offer to purchase. A contract is concluded when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline orders at our discretion.
Our products are available by mail order only; in-store collection is not possible. Delivery is made to the address provided. We reserve the right to make partial deliveries.
Delivery Times & Costs
We ship via DHL International Express. Orders are processed within 2–7 business days of payment.
- Germany: Free, 1–2 business days
- EU: €9.50 (free over €600), 2–5 business days
- United States: Free (included in USD price), 7–14 business days
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. A tracking number is sent by email upon dispatch.
US Customs Duties — Important Disclosure
Mārīci ships to the USA on DAP (Delivered at Place) terms. All displayed USD prices include international shipping but do NOT include US import duties or taxes. As of 2025, the de minimis duty-free threshold of $800 has been eliminated in the United States. All shipments are subject to US import duties assessed by CBP and collected by DHL upon delivery. The customer is solely responsible for all import duties. Mārīci has no control over assessed amounts.
Product Information & Fiber Content Disclosure
FTC Textile Disclosure: In compliance with the US Textile Fiber Products Identification Act and FTC regulations, all Mārīci products are accurately labeled as follows:
- Fiber content: 100% Cashmere (fine undercoat fiber from the Cashmere goat)
- Country of origin: India (Ladakh region)
- HS Code: 6214.20
Cashmere is used as a fiber descriptor in accordance with the US Wool Products Labeling Act. Country of origin is stated on each product page and on the commercial invoice accompanying every shipment.
Prices & Payment
Prices for EU/German customers are shown in EUR including applicable VAT. Prices for US customers are shown in USD and include international shipping. No additional shipping fee is charged at checkout for US orders. Import duties are not included.
Accepted payment methods: credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, Apple Pay. Payment is processed at the time of ordering.
Retention of Title
Goods remain our property until payment is received in full.
Right of Withdrawal — EU/EEA/UK Customers
Customers resident in the EU, EEA, or United Kingdom have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Full details are on our Right of Withdrawal page.
Voluntary Return Policy — International Customers (incl. USA)
The statutory EU right of withdrawal does not apply to customers outside the EU/EEA/UK. However, Mārīci voluntarily offers a 30-day return policy. Return shipping is entirely at the customer’s expense. Import duties paid to US Customs are non-refundable. Bespoke/personalized items are excluded.
Limitation of Liability
Mārīci is liable for damages only to the extent caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct. Mandatory liability under applicable product liability law remains unaffected.
Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
These T&C are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Munich, Germany, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights under the law of your country of residence. The UN CISG is excluded.
