From 11 to 23 August, MĀRĪCI was a guest exhibitor at the FEI World Championships in Aachen. Two weeks between the course, the arena and an audience from all over the world.
The weather showed its full range: bright days when guests stayed well into the evening, and afternoons when the rain emptied the grounds. It was in those cool hours that a fine scarf of 100% Changthangi cashmere spoke best for itself.
The encounters were the finest part. Clients who have accompanied MĀRĪCI for years came by especially; others held the brand in their hands for the very first time – visitors from Europe, Mexico and Argentina. That moment when someone first feels a scarf between their fingers and falls quiet for a breath cannot be created online.
Three new equestrian-style designs were created especially for Aachen: a large-format pashmina with an equine motif, a white carré with traditional Indian ornamentation and a special edition for the World Championships. Showing them for the first time – to an audience that knows horses and has an eye for line – was the true measure of these two weeks.
At the stand, the MĀRĪCI team wore Tracht by Helene v. Hodenberg of Munich. A pairing that feels right: Bavarian craftsmanship on one side, cashmere from Ladakh and Kashmir on the other – both made by hand, both created to last.
And above it all stood the sport. The concentration before the start, the silence on the course, the cheers afterwards. Precision, patience and craftsmanship that only becomes visible once everything is right – in this, MĀRĪCI recognises its own work.
Thank you to everyone who found their way to the stand. Aachen 2026 was a special chapter – and certainly not the last.
